About YLG

A specialist partner for supported housing recruitment and training.

Founded on over 20 years of sector experience, YLG exists to connect the right people to the right roles — and to build the skills that make supported housing safer and more effective.

Our story

Focused on people, compliance, and community support.

Yvonne Lewis Group was founded after years of watching supported housing providers struggle to find staff who truly understood the sector — and watching capable support workers get placed into roles that didn't suit them because a recruiter didn't know the difference between a mental health hostel and a floating support caseload.

We built YLG to fix that. To be the recruiter that knows supported housing from the inside — that understands what makes a great support worker, what a registered manager needs from a new placement, and why the right training is as important as the right CV.

Today, YLG works with housing associations, charities, local authority providers, and private operators across England and Wales — placing frontline workers, building training programmes, and supporting candidates at every stage of their supported housing career.

Specialist, not generalist. 20+ years of supported housing sector experience — built into every decision.
Our values

What shapes every decision we make.

Quality

We would rather take longer to fill a role than place someone who isn't right. Staffing decisions in supported housing affect vulnerable people — they deserve to be made carefully.

Compliance

DBS checks, right-to-work, references, training verification — compliance is never an afterthought at YLG. It's the first thing we build into every placement process.

Respect

Every candidate is treated as a professional. Every client enquiry is handled with care. And the residents at the centre of supported housing are never forgotten in a transaction.

Reliability

We respond quickly, follow through on commitments, and stay in contact throughout every placement. Providers and candidates should never feel left in the dark.
